My name is Carri Wilborn and I am the owner of Impulsive Concept Designs. I started taking photographs at a very young age for 4-h, from the time I was 8 years old I was told I had a unique and stunning eye for capturing great moments. I continued taking photos for fun all the time and did quite well on the state level for 4-h. When I was 15 and 16 I worked for an amazing photographer! A very well known photographer in Illinois. This experience was amazing, I learned so much and grew so much in this time. When I moved away this opportunity was cut short and I went back to only shooting photos for fun. When I was 20, I picked up a job working at Sears Portrait Studio and there grew more, dealing with small children almost every day, it was a new and exciting experience.

I went to Parkland College for Equine Management and also took many classes in Photography and Automotive Technology.

In 2006 I started Impulsive Concept Designs just as a website to post my photos from Car Shows and friend's children. In 2006 Edelbrock contacted me to purchase one of my photos from a car show to use. It was then I realized I could make something of this as more of a career. I do a wide range of products for people but equine related and drag racing related events are my main aspects in 2010. I also love shooting weddings, engagements, groups, portraits, action photos of all forms, making calendars, and designing custom products.

I am the main photographer at Gordyville USA for arena action photos. I work side by side with Art Action Graphics at US41 dragway for 1/4 mile drag racing action.

My 2nd photographer Allison Hansen helps me shoot group photos, weddings, and for equine photos she is my "ears" girl! She grows every day as a photographer and keeps very busy with school and her other jobs. She is going to Kankakee Community College currently.
